Armaan has always wanted to pursue a career that incorporates his passion for psychology, behaviour, and clinical work. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Armaan strives to provide quality mental health services built on the foundation of a client-centred and bio-psycho-social framework. Armaan believes that clients are always the experts of their narrative and various lived experiences, and he aspires to utilize this expertise, when creating and implementing a treatment plan, to enact meaningful and sustainable change within the clients’ lives. Armaan also believes that it is important to address an individual’s challenges holistically, while acknowledging biological, social, and psychological factors that may be contributing to a person’s distress.
Armaan has experience utilizing CBT, DBT, EFT, and ERP to address a range of mental health ailments that include anxiety, mood disorders (depression), life transitions, and O.C.D. He values the importance of continuing professional education and is always trying to enhance his skillset.
In his spare time, Armaan enjoys spending time with family, hiking, playing tennis, reading, and travelling, as he finds this culturally fulfilling. John completed his Master degree in physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2008. He has been a registered massage therapist in Vancouver since 2000 and obtained a kinesiology degree in 2004.
Since the beginning, John successfully integrated both RMT and kinesiology services to ICBC, WorkSafeBC and MSP clients including active rehabilitation (AR) services.
John has completed training in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and is also certified in IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation / Dry Needling). In addition to a variety of osteopathic workshops, John has completed Anatomy in Motion movement analysis and correction and is keen on providing patients with not just short term pain relief, but long term solutions. Sara graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018, after moving to Canada from the UK in 2016.
Before becoming a Massage Therapist Sara worked as a financial journalist for several years in London.
She first became interested in massage therapy after suffering a chronic back injury while competing in judo as a teenager. After years of various treatments she found that massage was extremely beneficial for providing pain relief. This inspired her to want to help others with similar issues.
Sara aims to help her patients achieve their treatment goals as effectively as possible, through treatment and education. She uses a variety of techniques during her treatments including Swedish massage, active and passive stretching, myofascial release and joint mobilisation’s.
Sara is visually impaired and has a guide dog, Daisy, who comes to the clinic with her everyday and has a safe space in the treatment room with her and the patient.
In her spare time Sara enjoys running, going to the gym, cross country skiing and of course going for walks and hanging out with Daisy, who is looking forward to meeting you in clinic.

Avery is a proud member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiology. His interest in Kinesiology came from a background in sports including hockey, volleyball, and lacrosse. Avery is a graduate from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a specialization in Neuromechanical and Physiological Sciences. He also has a Diploma in Sports Science from Douglas College. During his education, Avery learned anatomical and biomechanical concepts related to human movement and exercise. 1999 to present - Marialena graduated from West Coast College Of Massage Therapy in 1999. She practiced in North Vancouver for 6 years when her life led her to set roots down here in the tri city area. She opened Momentum Therapeutics in hope of offering skilled complementary health care practitioners to an area that was under-serviced. Over her lengthy career she has had the opportunity to treat a variety of different people from elite athletes, to pregnant women, to post-cancer survivors. Having experience in treating a multitude of ailments, she has the ability to help patients get over treatment plateaus, and give them the at-home tools to help themselves get better. So many different injuries, so little time. Having taken many post graduate courses including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cranial sacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, visceral manipulation, muscle energy, Instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) , and most recently Stott Pilates. All these technique allow her to work with the patient and provide that individual with a unique-to-them approach to their care. Kandice graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in December 2015. Her background as an ACE Personal Trainer helped to reinforce the active rehabilitation techniques taught in the massage program and supported her work with the 2015 MS Bike Tour, 2015 Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival and the White Caps FC 2 team.
Kandice encourages clients to be active participants in their own health care and injury rehabilitation. Through active living and a healthy lifestyle, clients can successfully manage the stresses of work and play on the body.
